"KBKS, KISS 106"
Seattle
INTRODUCING "JINGLE VIDEO!" - A 'MUSIC VIDEO' TV SPOT, BASED ON YOUR JINGLE PACKAGE!
You spend a lot of thought, energy and budget on your station jingle package. So why not follow through with your own radio station music video, using your dynamite jingles for music track?!
This is the clear concept behind a new campaign for KISS 106 Seattle.
PD Mike Preston said his Reelworld music was good hot it should be a music video for KISS 106. And that's how 'JINGLE VIDEO!" was born.
Using the jingle package produced by Reelworld Productions, Seattle, this TV campaign delivers a hip music-video style message. Cast & crew totaled 70 for the day-long shoot at the notorious Backflip Club in San Francisco. Notice that the video captures the demo attitude, look and feel, while SHOUTING the station ID in your face!
To guarantee a music video look, Rosler Creative tapped the San Francisco music scene for a local music video director, and Los Angeles for the savvy 16mm shooter. Film transfer was a Company 3, another noted music video post house in Santa Monica. There are bookend :15's, to open and close a commercial break, as well as
:30's. Count the number of times we say "KISS 106"! Think about the way it extends
your on-air personality to TV,,,there's nothing like it on the air. It's memorable, because nothing delivers a message more directly to the viewers brain than a simultaneous message to the eye AND ear. Your jingle is your on-air ID, and JINGLE VIDEO! is the smartest way to extend that personality on TV.
This campaign just premiered Spring 2000. Stay tuned for the success story!
